Mr. Ted <br />Fairfield objected and defined the boundary <br />as shown by the red penciled line on the <br />ridgetop. Commissioner Hirst recognized it <br />as the map drawn in 1963 and used throughout <br />the whole process. After considerable dis- <br />cussion, it was suggested that the tape of <br />the January 26, 1971 meeting be heard. Mr. <br />Fairfield stated that this delay would leave <br />them out on a limb as the property is being <br />sold as of that approval. Chairman Carrigan <br />suggested that all changes made on exhibits <br />be dated and signed to avoid conflict. <br />Mr. Aiello suggested that the Commission <br />settle on the ridgetop boundary and Chairman <br />Carrigan so instructed that the map be <br />marked accordingly. <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- Singer Housing Tract 3232 - Review of <br />NATION OF COMMISSION landscaping proposal. <br />Mr. Scott Patrick demonstrated snapshots of <br />the specimen trees he is using in their <br />tracts and stated that they would be 15 to <br />25 feet tall upon installation. Mr. Aiello <br />stated that all 15 gallon trees have been <br />approved. Mr. Patrick wanted to know if the <br />tree size could be reduced to 5 gallon is th <br />put in 24 specimen trees. The 24 trees woul <br />be installed in the first phase. The Commis <br />sion was agreeable to this with the conditio <br />that they be at least 15 feet from the group <br />MATTERS INITIATED A dinner meeting with Parks and Recreation <br />BY COMMISSION MEMBERS will be scheduled for June 22, 1971, 6:00 PM <br />at Hap's, which is to include all city staff. <br />The regular Planning Commission meeting will <br />be postponed until June 29, 1971. <br />-7- <br />
