Ted Fairfield of MacKay & Somps, who <br />drew up the Tentative Map replied that the <br />sewer and water would be in the City, pumped <br />by gravity. The property has been surveyed <br />and there is no easement on property. He <br />stated that the General Plan is the only <br />thing we can work with and is an example to <br />be followed. Sycamore will be a major stree <br />The High School District purchased a site <br />there 7 years ago. He also emphasized that <br />before the subdivision is filed Mr. Davidson <br />will be required to post a bond so the work <br />will be guaranteed. <br />The Public Hearing was then closed. <br />Commissioner Hirst abstained from discussion <br />Commissioner Pons stated that he liked the <br />Iow density, but not the location, or the <br />cul-de-sacs and stated that he would like to <br />see it laid out in a different manner. <br />Commissioner Pereira agreed and felt that <br />the planning concepts were wrong, but he <br />approved the density and location. <br />Commissioner Wood recognized that the County <br />considered this a good plan but stated that <br />he felt the people on Sycamore bought a way <br />of life and could not vote for it. <br />Chairman Garrigan concurred and although he <br />called it a great PUD innovation moved for <br />denial. <br />A resolution recommending denial for this <br />PUD was entered and passed. <br />The Commissioners then told the applicAe~t <br />that several suggestions made tonight could <br />be capitalized upon and then they voted to <br />waive the $2s0 fee to resubmit if the densit <br />remained at 2.7 or better, and if resubmitte <br />w~Ethie 60 days. <br />-5- <br />
