No. 1108, Denied opment to be located on property described as Parcel 5-13, Block 946 of the Alameda County Assessor's Office, containing 51.8 acres, more or less. Property generally located on the east side of Sunol Boulevard and north of the Mission Park devel- opment. The matter was continued un- til August 24, 1971 as per applicant' request. Morrison Homes - Variance to allow a .reduction in the required parking space width for covered spaces in the R-1 (Single-family) District for ,approximately 94 lots of Tract 3254. There were no questions regarding the lstaff report and Mr. Castro had no further comments. The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Dudley Frost was (,present, representing the applicant. Mr. Frost displayed a map of Tract 3254, and described the house sizes to be put on the lots, which are variable in size. Mr. Frost suggest- ed that the sideyards be reduced to accommodate the 20 foot garage for the two plans indicated, a reduction from 17 feet of sideyard to 15 feet, four inches. The Public Hearing was closed. Commissioner Pons requested clarifi- cation regarding the date of passage of the garage ordinance. The City Attorney reported that it was in May of 1968. Chairman Garrigan question- ed the filing of the tentative map and it was reported that it was filed five years ago, and extended across said area. The tentative was refiled late last year.
