4y~~-SA1Vjo,L <br />~~ '~,. <br />~,; o <br />,~ <br />`~NNfD f <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Dote : August 24, 1971 <br />Time : 8:10 PM <br />PIOCB: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Pacific Telephone Company - phone booths in <br />C.B.D. area. Information on downtown phone <br />booths to be presented by Pacific Telephone <br />and Telegraph Co. <br />Gene Merganthall, Coin Manager for Pacific <br />Telephone was present, and displayed some <br />pictures of possible designs for sidewalk <br />telephones in Pleasanton. Commissioner <br />Pereira felt that the phone company should <br />have a model depicting Old California or <br />Mexico as a theme. <br />Mr. Merganthall recalled that an antique <br />phone booth was given the City and Mr. Aiell <br />stated that it is still in storage at the <br />Corporation Yard. <br />Mr. Aiello then stated that he would like to <br />~oork with the Phone Company to establish a <br />program and then present it to the Commissio <br />This was acceptable to the Commission and th <br />matter was closed. <br />TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION Tentative Tract 3346, The Tecton Company. <br />MAPS This matter was discussed under public <br />Tent. Tract 3346 hearings. At this time a separate resolutio <br />Denied, Res. No. 1117 was entered by Chairman Garrigan to deny the <br />tentative map. This was seconded and Carrie <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY Commissioner Hirst clarified that in regard <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS to the Valley Avenue, all of the south side <br />of Valley is to be put in. <br />ADJOURNMENT IAs theje was no f herb iness the ry~eeti <br />was ad'ourned 05 AM. / <br />rdo J.
