y~,t-8~1VT~ <br />y CITY of PLEASANT~~I <br />.~; r <br />.~ <br />`~~~° Planning Commission <br />•wrso s <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data : September 28, 1971 <br />Time : 8:30 PM <br />f ~OCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL Commissioners present: Commissioners Hirst, <br />Pereira, Pons, Wood and Chairman Garrigan. <br />Commissioners absent: None. <br />MINUTES <br />REVISIONS AND <br />OMISSIONS TO AGENDA <br />The minutes were postponed to be discussed <br />under item ~~14. <br />Mr. Aiello reported that the applicants <br />under items Sa and 5b were called regarding <br />the Commission's intention to continue <br />these items pending the report on the growth <br />conditions and sewer capacity. <br />At this time Chairman Garrigan remarked that <br />the Commission has sought guidelines from th <br />Council regarding growth matters and especia <br />problems relating to sewers. 7,t this time, <br />he further stated some of the City staff is <br />attending the League of California Cities so <br />we don't have full staff consultation here <br />tonight. He stated that the Commission has <br />not as yet had direction from the Council at <br />this time and that on October 4th a staff <br />study on sewer problems shall be presented <br />and it was felt by both the staff and the <br />Commission that it would be reasonable to <br />continue the items concerning units or sewer <br />connections until the Commission has all the <br />facts available. <br />Regarding the matter of Z-71-81, United <br />Presbyterian Church, Mr. Bill Amis, repre- <br />senting the Church addressed the Commission.!, <br />He remarked that they accept the recom- <br />mendations of the staff and understand the <br />problems facing the Commission regarding the <br />sewer expansion. However, he asked that the, <br />two variances being applied for be considered <br />at this time so that the paper work involved <br />could be processed. Chairman Garrigan I, <br />replied that approval of the variances <br />could not be given until the entire project <br />ly <br />
