He further <br />stated that there may be a way the <br />City can control this type of situa- <br />tion by amending the Zoning Ordinance <br />Paul Billeci, representing George Oak , <br />was present and after discussion <br />agreed to a continuance regarding thi <br />matter. <br />Robert Pearson was in the audience an <br />addressed the Commission by expressin <br />concern regarding the Cabana Club. <br />He stated that the by-laws read <br />that any piece of ground that is sub- <br />divided into lots is a qualified <br />member of that Cabana Club and in <br />order to avoid a conflict here, he <br />felt that this should be straightened <br />out. He also stated that when the <br />property was originally zoned it was <br />agreed that there would be no one <br />under 16 years of age in those apart- <br />ments and there are several children <br />living there now and he felt that it <br />just wasn't built to house small <br />children. <br />The Commission continued this matter <br />until the next regular meeting. <br />Privet hedge (Ligustrum Lucidem) on <br />Valley Avenue. <br />Commissioner Wood reported that the <br />Pleasanton Junior Women's Club will b <br />voting on whether to maintain this <br />hedge. Commissioner Wood will report <br />back at the next regular meeting. <br />-9- <br />
