4yg~s"fir°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~ o <br />~.:o.•~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date October 12, 1971 <br />Time : 8: oo P.M. <br />P~QCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. Castro reported on the upcoming '~ <br />Airport Land Use Commission meeting I, <br />to be held the following evening. ~, <br />MATTERS INITIATED Chairman Carrigan asked the City <br />BY COMMISSION Attorney if the Planning Commission <br />has the right to hold an Executive <br />Session with the staff in regard to <br />personnel matters. The City Attorney <br />said that he would check into it. <br />There was discussion regarding the <br />possibility of allowing a sales <br />display area at the Mobile Home Park <br />on Vineyard Avenue. Mr. Castro <br />reported that this matter will come <br />before the Commission on October 26, <br />1971 . <br />In regard to Mobile Home Parks, <br />Chairman Carrigan stated that there i <br />a conference slated for November 15, <br />16 and 17 in Southern California. He <br />said that two or three of the <br />Commissioners could be sent to this <br />meeting and asked that if anyone <br />was interested in attending to let <br />him know as soon as possible. <br />The American Institute of Planners <br />Convention October 25 - 28 at the <br />Hilton Hotel in San Francisco was <br />discussed and the Commission asked <br />for a copy of the agenda. Mr. Castro <br />asked the Commissioners to contact <br />him if they were interested in attend <br />ing any of the sessions. ~ <br />Commissioner Hirst encouraged the ~, <br />staff to proceed with the downtown <br />sign review. Mr. Castro replied that, <br />there has been a good summary <br />of what needs to be done prepared <br />by Mr. Robinson and the staff will <br />proceed from that. <br />
