This was brought <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY before the Commission for its information. <br />No action was taken. <br />Ordinance Regulating Conversions from Rented <br />to Owned Housing. This proposed ordinance <br />was brought before the Commission for infor- <br />mation only at this time. A public hearing <br />will be scheduled sometime in January. <br />MATTERS INITIATED Commissioner Pereira asked what action was <br />BY COMMISSION taken on the grapestake fence in Val Vista <br />with regard to setbacks. Mr. Castro replied <br />that the staff checked on this matter and <br />found that it meets all requirements of the <br />Ordinance. <br />Commissioner Wood commented on the demoliti <br />of Fishers Drive Ina on Main Street and <br />asked what requirements the City may impose <br />to make sure the lot is left in acceptable <br />condition. Mr. Castro confirmed that he <br />would have this matter checked out. <br />Chairman Garrigan reminded those present <br />that this would be the last meeting of the <br />year and suggested that we schedule a party <br />for Commission and staff in the summer as <br />Christmastime is so busy. <br />He then expressed his feelings regarding wha <br />the Commission is trying to accomplish for <br />the City and conveyed his personal holiday <br />greetings to staff and fellow Commissioners. <br />There being no further business, the Decembe <br />14, 1971 meeting of the Planning Commission <br />was adjourned at 12:40 PMT ., <br /> <br />rdo J,: ~stro, Secretary <br />- 11 - <br />
