4y~,~,se~vToy <br />CITY of PLEASANTO~V <br />~ ~ '~~ • <br />.~ <br />`~~~° Planning Commission <br />•wsso ~ <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte ; March 14, 1972 <br />Time : 8 t00 PM <br />PIOC@; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Commissioner Hirst questioned if the residen <br />in the developed lots surrounding this lot <br />were notified of this variance, also he <br />questioned if the developer had made any <br />modification in the sales office material <br />regarding the deletion of the park in con- <br />junction with this variance. <br />Mr. Castro indicated that the procedures <br />are to notify surrounding property owners <br />within a 300 ft. radius from the property <br />in question, and this property does not fall <br />within that radius. Mr. Castro then gave <br />the history of the tentative map and the <br />reasons why this variance became necessary. <br />Mr. Richard Braden, MacKay & Somps, repre- <br />senting the applicant, reminded the Commissi <br />that it was at their direction that the park <br />area was removed from the map and this <br />variance is merely a vehicle whereby this <br />can be accomplished. He further indicated <br />to the Commission that the map in the sales <br />office will be changed to indicate present <br />development. <br />Commissioner Hirst asked Mr. Braden the <br />dista nce that the closest homes are to this <br />lot. Mr. Braden indicated that would be <br />approximately 400 ft. away. <br />Mr. Don Lawrie, Mackay Homes, was present an <br />told the Commission that although the park <br />has been removed, they are building a cabana <br />club in that immediate area which will be <br />available to those homeowners. <br />As no one else wished to speak, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />Chairman Garrigan expressed disappointment <br />that the change regarding this tract has not <br />been noted in the sale promotion material, <br />and urged that it be done as soon as possibl <br />Also, he recommended that this matter be <br />referred to Council right away. <br />-4- <br />
