Mr. Castro explained <br />that he would still like the matter <br />to be opened as he wanted to address <br />himself to this application. <br />He also indicated that there are <br />some communications to be discussed <br />under item 8. <br />Service Station Study. <br />Mr. Castro advised Commissioner <br />Pereira that he checked with the <br />Department of Motor Behicles in <br />regard to the number of automobiles <br />per household. They advised that <br />they couldn't give the statistics <br />for a specific city, but that it <br />would average out at 1.4 registered <br />cars per household for Alameda Coun <br />as a whole. <br />Commissioner Pereira disagreed with <br />this as a realistic figure for <br />Pleasanton, feeling that in Pleasanto <br />the average would be two or more <br />cars per household. <br />Mr. Castro concurred that Pleasanton <br />may have a higher ratio than other <br />n <br />Resolutio <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />-2- <br />
