'~ `~ <br />DCte ; April 25, 1972 ~? <br />Time : s:OS PM <br />PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS FOR Request by Morrison Homes for lifting of esolution: <br />COMMISSION'S REVIEW public street reservation on Lot 25, Tract econded: <br />2860 and Lot 69, Tract 3095, Pleasanton. yes: <br />oes: <br />Basically, Mr. Campbell and Mr. Castro have bsent: <br />not changed their original opinion of the bstain: <br />circulation of these areas. The applicant <br />is requesting that one of these lots be <br />removed from the street reservation, more <br />specifically, they would like it to be Lot 2 . <br />Mr. Dudley Frost was present and explained tc <br />the Commission that the uncertain future of <br />these lots has been a matter of some concern <br />to the people .living adjacent to and in the <br />vicinity of Lot 25 of Tract 2860. He propose <br />to use Lot 69 to cut a street through and <br />lift the reservation on Lot 25, if the <br />Commission so desires. <br />Should the Commission refuse his request, <br />it would leave a continuing problem situa- <br />tion in that neighborhood. <br />Several people living in that vicinity were <br />present at the meeting and spoke. They were <br />Mr. Don Farrell, Lot 51 - spoke of a problem <br />with the children in the vicinity possibly <br />getting hurt if Lot 25 becomes a through <br />street. Also, the uncertainty of its future; <br />causes a bad situation with overgrown look <br />and children using it as a play area. <br />Mr. Gary Christensen, residing south of <br />Lot 25. Objected to the situation as he <br />had not been told of this problem when they <br />bought in Pleasanton Valley. Is concerned <br />about possible traffic problems, and that <br />the lot is presently a hazard and an eyesore. <br />-10- <br />
