Res: <br /> Seconded: <br />Mr. Castro summarized for the Ayes: <br />Commission's benefit, his staff repor Noes: <br />of May 23, 1972, and the letters Absent: <br />attached to the staff report. Abstain: <br />Title Insurance and Trust Company. Res. <br /> Seconded: <br />The Commissioners did not have any Ayes: <br />questions of this report at this <br />time. <br />Mr. Henry Mariani, representing <br />Willow West Properties, spoke next. <br />He referred to his letter dated May 8 <br />1972, wherein he states that they are <br />willing to contribute their pro-rata <br />share to have Livingston & Blayney <br />include a study on the shopping <br />center in their General Plan review, <br />currently underway. <br />Mr. Mariani also read a letter from <br />Southern Pacific Land Company dated <br />May 22, offering their regrets that <br />they would not be present the night <br />of the hearing. In their letter, <br />Mr. D. C. Dado of Southern Pacific <br />Land Company cited four points why <br />he felt their application should be <br />approved. They are as follows: <br />1- Ample acreage for the largest and <br />finest shopping center for this <br />Valley. <br />2- Ample room for expansion as well a <br />buffer between the center and resi- <br />dential development. <br />3- The property has excellent access <br />to the people living in the area. <br />-2- <br />
