Discussion followed <br />on the establishment of properties. <br />The Chairman ended the discussion by <br />offering to spend whatever time is <br />needed with Councilman Herlihy to <br />discuss these matters in an attempt <br />to convey to Council the feelings <br />and objectives of the Planning <br />Commission members. <br />Discussion ensued on the information <br />al pamphlet prepared by Administrati <br />There were certain questions and <br />improvements which the Commissioners <br />felt could be made to this booklet, <br />which it was emphasized is still in <br />preliminary form. <br />A luncheon meeting was <br />wherein these matters <br />fied. <br />requested <br />could be clari <br />At this point in the proceedings, <br />Chairman Carrigan introduced <br />Mr. Talarico and explained the poli <br />established by the Commission for <br />promotional and permanent signs <br />in shopping centers, the downtown <br />area and City-wide. <br />Mr. Talarico has a barber shop in th <br />Alpha Beta shopping center and has <br />placed large orange colored paper on <br />his window indicating that he is ope <br />7 days a week and indicating the <br />prices he is charging. <br />This was confirmed as a violation of <br />the sign policy established by the <br />Planning Commission. <br />-11- <br />
