4y$~s"N~°y C TY of PLEASANT~N <br />I <br />~~~. <br />.~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />•w ao t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date July 25, 1972 <br />Time : 8:45 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />VARIANCE REQUEST <br />V-72-34, Continued <br />to Aug. 22, 1972 <br />ZONING PERMIT <br />Z-72-92, Approved <br />Res. 1192 <br />Alda Moniz - application for a vari- <br />ance to the overall approved signing <br />program of the Amador Shopping Center <br />to allow additional signing at Payles <br />Cleaners at 1787 Santa Rita Road, <br />Pleasanton. <br />In referring to the staff report, <br />Secretary Castro recommended approval <br />of the Payless symbol and hours of <br />operation but denial of the price <br />listing signs. <br />Mrs. Moniz was not present at the <br />hearing. <br />The Public Hearing was then opened. <br />In computing the allowable square <br />footage for a signing program for <br />this establishment, it was determined <br />to be 7 sq. ft. of signing allowed. <br />The proposed additional signing will <br />bring it up by 11 sq. ft., making a <br />grand total of 18 sq. ft. of signing. <br />Photographs were taken illustrating <br />the symbols. <br />Since the applicant was not present <br />to answer questions, this matter was <br />continued to August 8, 1972. <br />William A. Hirst - design review to Res: <br />allow the conversion of an existing Seconded: <br />residence into an office use, said Ayes: <br />residence located in an 0 (Office) Noes: <br />District, at 147 Bernal Avenue, Absent: <br />Pleasanton.
