4~~~sAN~oy CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ~'i . <br />.a <br />`~~~° Planning Commission <br />.~..o. <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data : July 25, 1972 <br />Time : 8:45 P.M. <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. John Petronave feels the City <br />should make a survey of the people <br />who reside on Vineyard as to how they <br />felt about the garbage trucks going <br />by their homes. <br />Discussion followed on the fact that <br />local construction firms from San <br />Ramon are utilizing this dump site fo <br />their debris, and apparently it was <br />the understanding that this dump site <br />would be for the citizens of Pleasan- <br />ton only . <br />he City Manager indicated that at <br />he time the matter was brought up at <br />he Commission and Council levels the <br />ntent was that the Valley would not <br />e proliferated with garbage dumps. <br />he concept at that time was to formu <br />ate a transfer station at the Pleasa <br />on dump site so as to conform to the <br />erms of the contract. This transfer <br />tation is a proper means of trans- <br />erring dump from this site to the <br />ivermore one. Mr. Edgar acknowledge <br />ossible ancillary problems with othe <br />arties using the dump and promised a: <br />nvestigation into these matters. <br />r.
