4~$~sAN~°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ',~ - <br />.a <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />~NNfD • <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte : August 8, 1972 <br />Time : 8:00 P.M. <br />PIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />The applicant was present and voiced <br />no objection to the staff report. <br />REZONING REQUEST <br />RZ-72-5, Approved, <br />Res. 1196 <br />IA resolution was then offered by <br />'Commissioner Pereira, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wood, approving this <br />extension for one year to expire <br />on August 8, 1973, and subject to the <br />same conditions previously imposed. <br />Resolution <br />Planning Commission (Regional Center) Seconded: <br />- application of the Planning Ayes: <br />Commission to amend the existing Noes: <br />zoning for that property bounded on Absent: <br />the north by Interstate #580, on the Abstain: <br />east by Interstate #680, on the south <br />by Stoneridge Drive and on the west <br />by Foothill Road, to the C-R (Com- <br />mercial Regional) District, and the <br />Multi-family Residential (P.U.D. <br />RM-25) District. <br />Secretary Castro explained and <br />summarized the staff report. <br />The plans before the Commission are <br />the result of the directive and <br />encouragement given by Commission to <br />Stone son. The amounts of acreages <br />involved in this rezoning are <br />178.045 acres for the Regional <br />Center and 97.645 acres for the <br />apartment project. <br />The Department Heads' reports all <br />were encouraging but did carry some <br />concerns about problems which would <br />need to be cleared up; however, <br />since this presentation is only in <br />the form of a rezoning and is pre- <br />liminary in nature at this point, th <br />did not express too many opinions, <br />preferring to defer their comments <br />until more definite plans are sub- <br />mitted. <br />-2- <br />
