gy$~sA~~°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ '~! <br />.~ <br />'~~~° Planning Commission <br />~rrso t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte : August 8, 1972 <br />Time: 8:0o P.M. <br />FIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Area E - Res. 1197, <br />Area F - Res. 1198 <br />A resolution was then offered by <br />Commissioner Pereira, seconded by <br />Vice Chairman Pons to approve the <br />rezoning for the Regional Center site <br />as noted and to rezone the multiple <br />area to the PUD Multiple. This <br />resolution received unanimous <br />approval. <br />Study Area E - this area involved the Area E <br />multiple area north of Black Avenue Resolution <br />and Hopyard Road and the large PtTD Seconded <br />multiple area on the Del Valle Park- Ayes: <br />way. Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Present to speak for the matter was Abstain: <br />Mr. Dudley Frost of Morrison Homes. Area F <br />ResTtion <br />Secretary Castro advised the Commis- Seconded <br />Sion that the staff recommendation is Ayes: <br />for lifting of the Study District Noes: <br />for the parcels around Black Avenue Absent: <br />and retaining the Del Valle Parkway Abstain: <br />in the Study District for 90 days in <br />order that Livingston & Blayney would <br />have a chance to make a recommendatio <br />on it. <br />Regarding Study Area F this area take <br />in certain parcels south of Vineyard <br />Avenue presently zoned C-F, RM-1500 <br />and RM-4000, and the C-C zoning with <br />the strip of RM-15 to the east. <br />Secretary Castro could see no reason <br />for retaining the parcels south of <br />Vineyard in their present zoning and <br />recommending rezoning to Single <br />Family R-1-6500. Regarding the <br />commercial center, the recommendation <br />was for 10 acres in commercial with <br />the remaining four to be placed in <br />RM-2500. <br />Discussion followed on the feasibilit <br />of a 10-acre site being able to survi e. <br />Mr. Castro felt that if the General <br />Plan does not change any of the zonin <br />-14- <br />
