q~~~s"N~°y CITY of PLEASANTON
~~o
~.:o~-~ Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : August 22, 1972
Time : 8:1o P.M.
PIQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
Both Chairman Garrigan and Commis-
sioner Pereira indicated that this
matter should be referred to the
City Attorney for handling.
Commissioner Pons indicated that he
had received a phone call that day
that a large Sycamore tree was being
cut down on Stanley Boulevard at the
Arroyo .
Mr. Don Sooby explained that he and
a patrolman went out to the site and
discovered that the tree is a
Eucalyptus, is located on private
property, and was being pruned.
The Commissioners brought up the
problem of weeds growing rampant on
the lot next to the 76-Service
Station at Stanley and Main. Staff
indicated that the Fire Department
will be contacted on this matter.
The Commissioners wished to know
whether Dr. Carnazzo, who previously
had a medical practice out of his
home at 1598 Santa Rita Road, is
back in town. They had heard rumors
to that effect.
No one knew for certain if this is
true.
Chairman Garrigan brought up the
fact that the Chairmanship would
need to be rotated. It-was decided,
however, that since Commissioner
McLain was absent that evening, this
matter would be put off to September
12, 1972.
-7-
