q~~~s"N~°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~o <br />~.:o~-~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : August 22, 1972 <br />Time : 8:1o P.M. <br />PIQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Both Chairman Garrigan and Commis- <br />sioner Pereira indicated that this <br />matter should be referred to the <br />City Attorney for handling. <br />Commissioner Pons indicated that he <br />had received a phone call that day <br />that a large Sycamore tree was being <br />cut down on Stanley Boulevard at the <br />Arroyo . <br />Mr. Don Sooby explained that he and <br />a patrolman went out to the site and <br />discovered that the tree is a <br />Eucalyptus, is located on private <br />property, and was being pruned. <br />The Commissioners brought up the <br />problem of weeds growing rampant on <br />the lot next to the 76-Service <br />Station at Stanley and Main. Staff <br />indicated that the Fire Department <br />will be contacted on this matter. <br />The Commissioners wished to know <br />whether Dr. Carnazzo, who previously <br />had a medical practice out of his <br />home at 1598 Santa Rita Road, is <br />back in town. They had heard rumors <br />to that effect. <br />No one knew for certain if this is <br />true. <br />Chairman Garrigan brought up the <br />fact that the Chairmanship would <br />need to be rotated. It-was decided, <br />however, that since Commissioner <br />McLain was absent that evening, this <br />matter would be put off to September <br />12, 1972. <br />-7- <br />
