Perhaps at a later <br />date, it can be rezoned to the C-F District, <br />which does permit motels. <br />REFERRALS FROM PARKS <br />AND RECREATION COMM. <br />The Chairman then asked Mr. Henry Cupples, w <br />was present, whether it is Valley Realty's <br />intention to present an overall development <br />for Western Sierra and William Struthers. <br />'answer was in the affirmative. They would <br />like to present this development under a PUD <br />designation, with the request that the <br />Struthers parcel be zoned in the 0 (Office) <br />District but tied in with the Western Sierra <br />piece. At this time, he indicated no specif <br />is plans for Western Sierra. It would <br />depend on what they could obtain from the <br />city. <br />A motion was then offered by Chairman <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Wood and <br />carried, recommending to place the propertie <br />north of the William Struthers property to <br />and including the E1 Rancho Motel in a Study, <br />District. This matter is set for public ii <br />hearing for October 17, 1972. <br />Another motion was then offered by Chairman ', <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Wood and <br />carried, to recommend to City Council that i <br />the William Struthers parcel be tied in withli <br />the Western Sierra property and an overall <br />development plan be submitted for review in <br />the form of a P.U.D. <br />Review of Park Dedication Ordinance require-, <br />ments. <br />Present to speak on behalf of this matter <br />was Mr. Gary Patton, Director of Parks and <br />Recreation Commission and they had endorsed <br />his recommendations as noted in their <br />Resolution No. 72-7. <br />e <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent <br />Abstain: <br />X <br />-8- <br />
