gy$~sANT°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~o <br />~.;o=-~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : September 26, 1972 <br />Time : 8 :00 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Financially, it is difficult for him <br />to make ends meet under the stipula- <br />tions of the franchise agreement, one <br />of which requires that the service be <br />on a 24-hour basis. <br />Notices to surrounding property owner <br />were mailed out and some telephone <br />calls complaining about the operation <br />from a residential area were register d <br />with the staff. No one was present a <br />the hearing. <br />Discussion followed. Suggestions wer <br />made that perhaps 24-hour service cou d <br />be provided on weekends only. <br />It was decided that the staff would, <br />per direction of Commission, refer <br />this matter to the City Council for <br />their review and solution. <br />A motion was offered by the Chairman <br />granting the use of his home for the <br />taxicab service for 30 days while the <br />matter is reviewed by City Council fo <br />clarification and action on the fran- <br />chise agreement made with the cab <br />company. This motion was seconded by <br />Vice Chairman Pons and carried. <br />MATTERS FOR IN FO R- Commissioner McLain informed the oth <br />NATION OF COMMIS- Commissioners that he was attending <br />SION meeting at Alameda County regarding <br />the Hayward Hills. A report on this <br />will be made at the next meeting. <br />MATTERS INITIATED Commissioner Pons wished to know the <br />BY COMMISSION status of the converted garage in th <br />MEMBERS Mackay Park Villa development done b <br />a Dr. Meiers.
