Th <br />reply was in the negative. <br />Chairman Garrigan made clear to Mr. <br />Helgeson that if the Commission saw <br />fit to grant him approval to locate of <br />this property, he would have to bring <br />the building up to code, especially <br />the electrical requirements; he would <br />have to dedicate a portion of the <br />street in front to make it compatible <br />with that existing on either side of <br />the property; landscaping and cleanup <br />work on the property would be require <br />a time limit would be imposed and sub• <br />ject to renewal. This renewal if re- <br />quested may not be forthcoming and the <br />applicant should also be aware of thi; <br />The Commission has always encouraged <br />this type of "clean" industry and ac- <br />cordingly, a motion was offered by <br />Chairman Garrigan and seconded by Vice <br />Chairman Pons and carried, to encoura~ <br />Mr. Helgeson to proceed with formal <br />'application to the City for the use <br />of 5587 Sunol Boulevard as his place <br />lof business . <br />(Request of Mr. Florian R. Weissmann <br />'to operate the Pleasanton Cab Company <br />(from his home address at 4168 Wells <br />'Street, for a period of approximately <br />60 days. <br />jMr. Weissmann was present and as note <br />'in the letter submitted to the City, <br />is requesting permission to operate <br />from his home for about 60 days .
