CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ • • <br />`~~~° Plannin Commission <br />verso ~ g <br /> <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Dafie ; October 3, 1972 <br />Time : s:oo P.M. <br />PIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: McLain, <br />Pereira, Pons, Wood and Chairman <br />Carrigan. <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br />APP ROVAL OF <br />MINUTES No minutes were submitted. <br />REVISIONS AND Secretary Castro requested that 5a, <br />OMISSIONS TO THE RZ-72-11, Planning Commission be <br />AGENDA continued to November 14, 1972, <br />pending Council's review of recent <br />Supreme Court ruling. This was <br />acceptable to the Commission. <br />ZONING PERMIT Z-72-130, Federal Sign Corporation - <br />Cont. to application for sign approval for a <br />Oct. 17, 1972 16 ft. x 2 ft. 6 in. single-faced <br />sign to be mounted on front of build <br />ing under roof overhang at 4363 Firs <br />Street, Pleasanton. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Secretary Castro introduced the ele- <br />vations of the building in question <br />which were reviewed at the time the <br />application of the building was <br />before the Commission in its design <br />stages . <br />Secretary Castro then indicated whey <br />the new sign being proposed is to be <br />located. He also indicated where th <br />two medallion signs could possibly b <br />located, as suggested in the staff <br />report. <br />Mr. Elliott Wilson of Federal Sign <br />and Signal Corporation was present, <br />with the owner of the liquor store, <br />Mr. Herb Geller. <br />
