4~$ASA~To~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~o <br />.~.:o~-~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date : October 17, 1972 <br />Time : 8:22 P.M. <br />PIQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />In addition, an environmental impact <br />statement needs to be submitted, per <br />advice of City Attorney. The impact <br />statement prepared by the applicant <br />was received today and Mr. Castro did <br />not have time to give it more than a <br />perfunctory review . <br />The Public Hearing was then opened. <br />Rev. Vogt spoke, indicating that he <br />was deeply concerned with some of the <br />rumors that have been circulating, an <br />is ready to answer any and all questi ns. <br />Next Mr. Rich Geautreaux, President o <br />Lustrar, Inc., spoke. Mr. Geautreaux <br />address was given as 433 Callin Avenu <br />San Le an dro . <br />Pleasanton Greens is a housing project <br />which is being proposed to be developf <br />with integrity for providing shelter <br />for families of lower income. Lustra~ <br />Inc. was incorporated in June, 1971. <br />They elected their fiscal year to run <br />from June of each year. The mixup <br />with the State on the question of non- <br />payment of taxes was due to the wrong <br />interpretation of calendar year for tt <br />organization. This matter has been <br />squared away with the State now. <br />Mr. Geautreaux gave some background <br />on himself. <br />Next Mr. Kenneth Levy, attorney for <br />the project spoke. He was formerly <br />(with HUD as their regional attorney <br />for six years and is cognizant of the: <br />regulations and procedures. <br />Mr. Bill Alexander, architect for the <br />project, was present and set up the <br />renderings for review. <br />s <br />:d <br />ie <br />.r <br />-18- <br />
