4~'~ y
~s"N~° CITY of PLEASANTON
\ ,~ • ~
`~~~~° Planning Commission
~xxso s
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGt@ : October 17, 1972
Time ; s:22 P.M.
PIaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
Secretary Castro stated that this
proposed amendment is a rather simple
modification. However, it was his
recommendation that it be allowed
under a conditional use permit.
The standard fee is $75. Perhaps the
Commission may wish to have Council
set the fee.
Mr. Leonard Krill, the originator of
the request to keep two chickens at
his single family home, was present
and felt that the $75 fee would be
prohibitive for this request.
rs. Margene Helling wished to know
f this ordinance would apply to
ursery school operations. The
nswer was no.
Public Hearing was then closed.
A resolution was then offered by
Commissioner Carrigan, seconded by
Chairman Pons approving this ordin-
ance amendment to allow fow 1 or rabbi s
conditionally in a single-family
dwelling. This passed unanimously.
Commissioner McLain then complimented
the two young people who initiated th s
ordinance amendment, stating that
they took their request through the
legal system to change the system to
a more workable situation.
Study District E.
Secretary Castro talked to Mr. Bud
Lake of Morrison Homes, owner of the
property in question. There were no
problems with the continuance.
-14-
