Mr. Bowling explained that <br />he old building presently serves <br />s the Housing Authority administra- <br />ive offices, and at the present time <br />hey have no plans to relocate their <br />ffices. It was concluded that the <br />uilding be allowed to remain as <br />emporary office facilities for the <br />ousing Authority and for use by the <br />arks and Recreation Department for <br />ertain programs, until January 1, <br />974. After that. time, if other <br />uitable quarters cannot be obtained <br />y the Housing Authority, the Com- <br />ission allowed them the option to <br />equest renewal. <br />t should be explained that at the <br />ime of the staff meeting, Mr. Patton <br />f the Parks and Recreation Depart- <br />ent did bring up the possibility of <br />llowing his department to utilize <br />he old building for his senior citi- <br />en recreation coordinator in facili- <br />ting his program planning. <br />-3- <br />
