Mr. Hank Farrell, <br />representing that organization, spoke <br />advising the Commissioners that back <br />in 1966 and 1967, he was working <br />with the company that effected the <br />annexation agreement and sale of the <br />land to Besco, who subsequently sold <br />out to the present owners. At that <br />time, the 13 ac. belonging to Quali- <br />fied Investments was considered by <br />V.C.S.D. for expansion of their <br />sewage treatment plant or utilization <br />in the form of reclaim processes. <br />In October of this year, in checking <br />with V.C.S.D., a representative of <br />that agency had informed him that <br />no present or future requirements are <br />planned for that acreage. <br />As far as marketing activities, this <br />land has been shown to prospective <br />buyers, but has not been too market- <br />able due to the uncompleted extensio <br />of $toneridge Drive through this are <br />which will require some major finan- <br />cing to accomplish required improve- <br />ment. <br />Qualified Investments has accomplish <br />considerable improvement of the floo <br />control channels. They anticipate <br />that that property would be develop- <br />able, and would not rule out the <br />possibility of that being single <br />family residential. Mr. Farrell con <br />cluded his statements by indicating <br />that he did not anticipate a problem <br />of marketing their property for some <br />other type of residential use. He <br />does object, however to it remaining <br />in the A (Agricultural) District, <br />-4- <br />
