M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />REFERRALS FROM <br />PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION <br />A communication from Alameda County <br />Flood Control Department was received <br />and presented to the Planning Com- <br />mission for their information regard- <br />ing intent of Zone 7 to landscape a <br />portion of the flood control channel <br />from the vicinity of the Hewlett <br />Canal to the Southern Pacific Rail- <br />road in Pleasanton. <br />!,The Planning Commission endorsed this <br />project in the form of a motion. <br />I Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />IThis was an informational presen- <br />~tation made by the Director of Parks <br />'and Recreation, regarding his Tree <br />hand Fence Report. He first informed <br />the Planning Commission that a Study <br />Session is planned for January 22 <br />at 7:00 P.M., at the Justice Court, <br />!,regarding this item, between the City <br />',Council, Planning Commission and Park <br />',and Recreation Commission. <br />I <br />He next showed slides of various <br />trees in the City, indicating dif- <br />~ferent stages of development of the <br />trees, their health, life span, and <br />general appropriateness for their <br />.location. <br />',The Commissioners, at the end of the <br />presentation, thanked Mr. Patton for <br />' <br />, <br />This presentation. <br />~~ <br />Staff Consensus Report Re: Walter <br />Motion: <br />'Johnson's Donated Land.
