PIG C@; Pleasanton Justice Court This figure of 800 units per year was recommended by the Commission merely as a starting point for the City to begin their work; however, it is flexible to the extent that should it become apparent that it is no a workable number, then another growth rate figure should be utilized. COMMUNICATIONS MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS A letter-was sent to Mr. Carl Ledbetter of j ~ Pleasanton Elementary School District from j '' Mr. Sooby of the Public Works Department re- garding their request to construct a tempora ;y asphalt walkway along the west side of Greenwood Road and along portions of Northwa ,~' Road. This work will necessitate removal of certain trees. This item will be considered i i by Council on February 20, and the staff ' !' ' would like input from the Commissioners if they have any feelings about the matter, bef 're that time. Commissioner Wood had several recommendation ,: he felt that no all-night parking should be allowed anywhere on Hopyard Road. Commissioner Wood also spoke regarding the ingress/egress at the post office. He felt these should be inverted for easier maneu- verability. Commissioner Wood also suggested that St. Ma Street and Rose Avenue be made one-way. Commissioner Garrigan cited a problem of the drive-in window at the First National Ba nk on Main Street. Because of motorists attemp to enter the bank lot from Main Street, it is causing considerable backup of traffic. The intention of the Commission in granting the request for the drive-in window was for the bank patrons to drive up St. John Street to turn into the bank parking lot.
