CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTE~^ ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Date 2 February 27, 1973 <br />Time : s:os P.M. <br />Place; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Senior Planner Harris explained to the <br />Commissioners that it was the intent of the <br />Commission at the time the ordinance was <br />adopted that the screening would apply to <br />storage in the side yard as well, and that <br />said screening would need to be approved by <br />the Design Review Board. <br />r. Harris stated that the staff would like <br />he option to handle these submittals for <br />Greening of sideyards administratively, <br />ather than bring them before the Design <br />eview Board. <br />Commissioner Garrigan suggested that the <br />staff and Commission come to a meeting of the' <br />minds as to what can be handled administrativ ly <br />and what submittals should be reviewed by <br />the Design Review Board. In this regard, <br />Commissioner McLain suggested that the staff <br />come up with several examples of different <br />types of screening in order that the Commissi n <br />can better determine what can be handled <br />administratively and what should be reviewed i <br />by the Design Review Board. <br />e Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner McLain and <br />carried, approving the amendment to the Ordi- <br />nance Code pertaining to required screening <br />of campers, boats, trailers, etc., stored in <br />the area .between the front yard and the front <br />of a structure or in a side yard. <br />Approved - Final P1anjReview of final plan for the Neighborhood <br />Park at Kottinger Village. <br />Chairman Pons wished to know if these final <br />plans had been reviewed by the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission.
