CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Dptl1 ; March 27, 1973 <br />Time : 8:08 P.M. <br />PiQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br />BY COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS <br />ADJO U RMENT <br />Commissioner McLain remarked that it <br />would be helpful if the General Plan <br />map could be displayed during public <br />hearings with perhaps an arrow pointi <br />to the area under consideration. <br />Commissioner McLain next directed his <br />remarks to a lighted, neon sign em- <br />ployed by Shamblin & Telford over the <br />weekend, advertising a home off Santa <br />Rita Road. This is not an acceptable <br />real estate ."For Sale" sign. The <br />staff was directed to look into the <br />matter. <br />Commissioner McLain brought up the <br />matter of Agenda format for the Plan- <br />ning Commission meetings. He felt <br />that some sort of .instructions and/or <br />indications should be noted on the to <br />of the first page advising participan <br />how they should approach the Commissi <br />as he felt that sometimes there is <br />confusion and maybe reticence on the <br />part of certain individuals to speak. <br />Commissioner Carrigan brought up the <br />question of the traffic problem at t <br />Auf der Maur Apartments on Vineyard <br />Avenue, and what had been done to re <br />solve it. <br />solve this problem. <br />Discussion ensued. No conclusions <br />were reached that evening, and in an <br />attempt to b reak the impasse, it was <br />determined that reestablishment of <br />procedures would need to be made and <br />the City Manager would be the man to <br />The regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission was adjourned at 10 :00 P . <br />Robert J.
