CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Plartlning Commission <br />MINUT~~ ~QR REGULAR MEETING, <br />Dote t September 12, 1973 <br />Time ; s:o2 P.M. <br />PiQCa: Pleasanton Recreation Center <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY The question of the proposed expansion at the <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS Livermore Airport was again discussed by the <br /> Commissioners. <br />l, Commissioner Garrigan expressed his dissatis• <br />` faction with the manner in which the concern, <br />; as expressed by the Commission members re: <br />, <br />1 airport expansion, is being regarded. <br />' Commissioner Wood reiterated his feeling tha <br />' the FAA should be contacted regarding this <br />; situation, and tha t a letter from Pleasa nton <br /> City Council be sent to the City of Livermor <br /> Commissioner McLain and Chairman Pereira <br /> agreed with the position taken by the other <br /> two gentlemen. <br />The conclusion reached was that the members <br />should make an appearance at the Council <br />meeting that evening and present another <br />request to Council for recognition of the <br />seriousness of the situation, and petition <br />that Council take some action on the matter. <br />Chairman Pereira inquired after the status o <br />the storage yard at 10 W. Angela Street, whi <br />Geremia Pools was using. Also, the status o <br />a legal instrument for abatement of the de- <br />crepit structures on the property. Secretar <br />Castro indicated he would check with the Cit <br />Attorney. <br />Chairman Pereira asked what could be done <br />regarding possible demolition of the Jackson <br />Perkins building on Main Street, which has <br />been deemed unsafe by the Bui1_din Division. <br />The rotation of the Commission Chairman and <br />Vice Chairman will be held at the next meeti <br />ADJOURNMENT The regular meeting of the Pla nning Commissi <br />was adjourned at 9:25 P.
