CITY of PLE~ASANTON <br />Plar~ning Commission <br />MINUT~~ ~4F REGU~_AR MEETING. <br />~dte t September 12, 1973 <br />TImR ~ s:o2 P.M. <br />PigR!-~ Pleasanton Recreation Center <br />Commissioner McLain expressed concern regard <br />ing driveway access from Concord Street, the <br />driveway on Pico Avenue and the distance <br />between the loading area to serve the con- <br />venience market to the residences. It was <br />estimated that the distance is about 60-70 <br />feet, which can cause noise problems. <br />Commissioner Wood felt that the crux of the <br />matter is to provide same services for the <br />residents of the area. The design problems <br />can be worked out a t a later date . <br />Further discussion ensued regarding the <br />orientation of the building on the site. <br />The real concern focused on the type of use <br />which will occupy the 3,000 sq.ft. adjacent <br />to the proposed convenience market. After <br />further deliberation, the following resolu- <br />tion was entered and adopted: <br />That the application be granted with the <br />following recommendations: <br />1. That the driveway located closest to the <br />intersection of Concord Street and Palomino <br />Drive be restudied and revised to provide fo <br />a better circulation pattern, said revision <br />to be worked out between the applicant and <br />the City's Staff Review Committee. <br />2. That the convenience market identified <br />within the proposed C-N (Commercial Neighbor <br />hood) District, is hereby recommended.
