Mr. Bras <br />indicated that that particular <br />situation'is an example of faulty <br />installation, in that the posts have <br />insufficient compaction and are not <br />driven into the ground far enough. <br />He recommended usage of steel channe <br />or post, and apply the redwood on <br />top of that. <br />Mrs. Halversen, next door neighbor <br />to the west of the subject property <br />spoke regarding the fence situation. <br />She had a question regarding the <br />.grading which would affect the Neigh <br />of the fence. Mr. Sooby indicated <br />,that the City could give Mrs. Hal- <br />versen assurance that in reviewing <br />drainage plans, there will be no <br />'problem to her property. In addi- <br />tion, if the Commission so desires, <br />the grading of the property and <br />fence construction could be so <br />established as to not cause problems <br />to the adjoining property. <br />Regarding Condition #17 pertaining <br />to unavailability of sanitary sewer <br />service, Mr. Bras reminded the <br />Commission that they have a request <br />into the City to utilize holding <br />tanks . <br />Commissioner McLain asked Mr. Bras w <br />the plan uses perpendicular parking <br />rather than diagonal. The reply was <br />that it provide a good 25~ more <br />parking area. In any case, the <br />applicant is considerably over <br />ordinance requirement in that regard. <br />Acting Chairman Wood indicated he <br />wanted some assurance that the <br />grading of this property in relation <br />to the single family dwellings adja- <br />cent would be such that the adjoininc <br />-3- <br />~~~, <br />\\ <br />~~~~ <br />
