He. <br />described the legal means by which <br />the changes to make zoning consis- <br />tent with the General Plan map would <br />be made. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff's <br />position in drawing up the land use <br />map being reviewed. The staff is <br />merely attempting to master plan <br />the planning area. The area under <br />discussion, Mr. Harris felt should b <br />shown on the map as so noted and the <br />bring it to the Council's attention <br />as one of the areas which should <br />be targeted for further study. <br />Chairman Pereira indicated to Mr. <br />di Manto that this would afford him <br />the opportunity to present a concept <br />of the ideas he had for utilization <br />of the property. <br />Chairman Pereira felt that if the <br />Willow West properties are being <br />targeted for further study, then he <br />would be amenable to the land use <br />map as presented. <br />Some discussion followed on the <br />colors to be utilized to define the ~ <br />various land uses, and it was felt <br />that if a P.U.D. were to be shown on II <br />the land use map, that a different <br />and specific color be used. Mr. <br />Harris felt that this is a very vague <br />area.
