Justice Court Commissioner Carrigan'then offered a resolution recommending that the pro perty be allowed to go commercial on one acre only, with the balance zone in the RM-4000. City Attorney Ken Scheidig emphasize that this is a Plan Amendment and di not take into consideration zoning designation. Chairman Pereira and Commissioner Carrigan wished to make it clear tha this is a compromise measure on thei parts, to allow some commercial and the balance to be considered in multiple, but not high density. Another resolution was then offered by Commissioner Carrigan that the '1968 and the current General Plan :revision both be amended to show the approximately one acre portion ;of the 3.1 acre site on the south- west corner of Hopyard Road and 'Valley Trails Drive South, as retail business, with the balance to be placed in the multiple residential bland use classification; further, ~ (that said multiple acreage be con- ;sidered by Council in a density lidesignation, no greater than RM-4000.E Commissioner Pons seconded this resolution, which carried with all i ~~ayes, except for Commissioner Wood, ;',who made the only dissenting vote.
