At this time,
the City has $48,000 for improve-
ments .
'.The Chairman thought that perhaps
jsome flood lighting can be provided
on the buildings. Mr. Bowling ex-
plained that some additional
landscaping in certain areas, such
as some border areas would be pro-
vided, plus about four lights.
Mr. Bowling then explained one con-
sideration for elimination of bumper
stops in parking. They are thinking
of putting a straight curb across the
parking area, with the section in
back of that done in perhaps, ground
cover. The Chairman agreed that
very often one-wheel bumper stops
are not that effective.
Mr. Lowell Narron was in the audience
and offered the comment that one
item for consideration was that when
a car backed into a stall, and when
the motorist needs to get into the
(trunk compartment, he will, again,
walk on the landscaping area.
'Chairman Pereira felt that these
stalls were not designed for backing
into. However, Mr. Narron then
cited another problem which could
occur with timid drivers , in that
they would not drive all the way into
-12-
