The applicants have looked
at 16 locations in Pleasanton. For
numerous and various reasons, they
could not come up with anything.
They ultimately have secured an
option on the old P. G. & E. sub-
station on Stanley Boulevard. How-
ever, the property is currently in
the process of being rezoned to the
C-S District. The applicant is
asking for a reasonable amount of
time to complete all their trans-
actions and move. They requested
at least 90 days.
Mr. Ray Young, 2 Castlewood Drive,
property owner within the C.B.D.,
did not feel that 90 days should be
,allowed. Felt they should be able
' to move in 30 days . He felt that
this business has been detrimental
to the downtown area. He cited 32
,buildings within the core area which
'have been improved to date, and this
business is unsightly and inequitable
to those who have expended invest-
ments to improve their properties.
-18-
Resolution
Seconded:
Ayes
Noes
Absent:
Abstain :
