~$A~T° CITY of P
qy~ y LEASANTON
,~ .~,.
'~..~~` Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dote : January 8, 1975
Time : s:2o P.M.
PIOCB: Pleasanton Justice Court
Another resolution was then offered
by Chairman Wood continuing this
matter for 60 days from the date of
the meeting, which was seconded by
Commissioner Butler, with it being
the Chairman's understanding that
the permit would expire at that time
However, City Attorney Scheidig felt
that it would be preferable in that
case to approve it for 60 days only.
Commissioner Garrigan then stated
that if he is moving that quickly,
then 60 days would be quite benevo-
lent, but, he did not want to go on
record as approving anything because
it would put staff in a difficult
position, since it has not been
Commission's policy to approve this
kind of a home occupation.
A resolution was then entered and
adopted denying this application
as petitioned.
Chairman Wood advised Mr. Roach that
he had 15 days from date of denial
to appeal to City Council if he
wished. The City Attorney advised
the Roaches that they would have to
relocate their activity before they
could continue.
Determination of use - nursery in th
I-P (Industrial Park) District.
Secretary Harris had nothing to add
further.
Commissioner Garrigan felt that the
staff report was very comprehensive
and that the recommendation offered
is a good one and he supported it.
Motion:
Seconded:
Ayes
Noes:
Absent:
Abstain:
-10-
