,,."'~ CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dote : February 13, 1975
Time : 8:00 P.M.
PICCB: Pleasanton Justice Court
Acting Chairman McLain called Mr.
Vranesh's attention to one of the
conditions for approval, which
clearly states that no sewer is
available at this time. He also
advised Mr. Vranesl'~ to sometime
take a trip to City Hall and discuss
with staff the setback requirements
applicable to the different zoning
districts, in relation to the con-
cerns he expressed.
Next, Mr. Richard Burge spoke and
emphatically stated that in all his
dealings with staff, at no time was
he encouraged to apply for this PUD
revision. He stated that he is a
businessman, and took the calculated
risk of reinforcing the structure
of Building #4 of his own volition.
Commissioner Doherty indicated
interest in who the people were who
signed the petition. Also, he won-
dered about the "A" District imme-
diately west of the center. Some
discussion ensued on this point pri-
marily with Commissioner Carrigan,
as to how this land would be develop
with the commercial next door.
Commissioner Butler observed that
when he looked at this building
originally, he was concerned with
the bulk of the building with the
second-story added, but in reviewing
the bulk of the building in relation
to the two-story houses and other
buildings in the center, he now
believes that the bulk of this
building is quite small. Also, the
previous concerns of the Commission
regarding the shadow being cast, has
been answered.
-16-
