'" CITY of PLEASANTON
e Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : February 13, 1975
Time : s : oo P .M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
noted that several lots did not fron-
on a street. Before construction of
a house could begin, variance pro-
cedure would need to be undertaken.
A resolution was then offered by
Commissioner Butler, seconded by
Commissioner Carrigan and unanimous-
ly carried by those present to deny
this tentative map submittal based
on Section 11549 .5 (e) of the Busi-
ness and Professions Code which
states that denial of a tentative
map can be made if it has been esta-
blished that the project would cause
potential substantial damage to the
environment. This was undertaken
due to the absence of a final EIR
which would discuss mitigating
factors .
This resolution was then amended to
further find that design defects
also exist in the form of conflicts
with the City's established codes
for design standards.
Acting Chairman McLain advised appli
cant that he has 15 days in which to
appeal this decision to City Council
At this point in the proceeding,
Mr. Bruno Buti of Cloverdale, owner
of the property under review under
application No. RZ-75-2, arrived
and asked what had transpired on
that application. He was so noti-
fied of the action taken by the
Commission. He then asked if the
staff would hazard a guess when
development could take place, which
of course, could not be established
at this time because of the City's
sewer moratorium.
-13-
