The applicant agreed with the <br />changes. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Bill Hirst, 147 Bernal Avenue <br />spoke for the applicant. He reviewer <br />the staff report and the recommended <br />conditions with his client and found <br />them to be acceptable. <br />Speaking against the application <br />were <br />John Griffin~Morrison Homes - they <br />own property on one side which bor- <br />ders the access road, and their main <br />concern was the traffic traversing <br />that road. Also, they were con- <br />cerned that not enough people were <br />aware of the application since staff <br />only nofifies those property owners <br />who live in a 300 ft ..,radius of the <br />property in question. He had talked <br />to some property owners in the area <br />who complained of past problems with <br />litter and fast traffic, also, the <br />increase of traffic on Santa Rita <br />Road and Valley Avenue after this <br />business is established, as well as <br />on Busch Road itself. <br />X <br />-2- <br />
