('A T.T. <br />APPROVAL OF <br />MINUTES <br />REVISIONS AND <br />OMISSIONS TO <br />THE AGENDA <br />Commissioners Present: Butler, <br />Doherty, Carrigan, Shepherd and <br />Chairman Wood. <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br />Chairman Wood introduced the new <br />Planning Commissioner, Dave Shepher~ <br />who was elected to fill Roger <br />McLain's unexpired term ending May <br />5, 1978. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flay <br />followed. <br />The minutes of the April 9, 1975 <br />meeting were approved as submitted. <br />On advice from .the City Attorney, <br />Commissioner Shepherd, who had not <br />yet completed filing of his Dis- <br />closure of Assets, would abstain <br />from voting on any actions taken <br />at the meeting. <br />Secretary Harris informed the Com- <br />mission that in regard to Item 6c - <br />UP-75-9, David Hoff, conditional <br />use permit to allow a ceramics <br />school in the 0 (Office) District, <br />at 234 Main Street, there was a <br />letter of opposition from Vic Lund <br />registered against this use, citing <br />that the property is within the <br />Civic Overlay District. Under the <br />circumstances., the City Attorney <br />has made the ruling that this <br />application would have to be with- <br />drawn and another application in the <br />form of a variance would need to be <br />submitted. <br />Chairman Wood commented that it did <br />not necessarily follow that because <br />
