Commissioner Garrigan suggeste~ <br />the Chamber, or better yet, have the <br />Community Concerns Committee partici- <br />pate in such a program. The Chairman <br />thought that the City Council could <br />be informed of these ideas and their <br />sanction obtained. <br />Commissioner Shepherd requested clar- <br />ification of such an interaction and <br />this was explained to him by the <br />Chairman. Commissioner Garrigan <br />suggested that since Commissione r <br />Shepherd is a past member of the <br />Community Conce rns Committee, that <br />he would be a likely choice to serve <br />in that capacity. It was suggested <br />that Commissioner Shepherd draft a <br />letter to City Council along these <br />lines, but Commissioner Garrigan felt <br />that perhaps they should ask for some <br />time on the Council agenda to make a <br />verbal presentation. <br />The Chairman concurred with this <br />app roach. <br />-8- <br />
