Fairfield and <br />Braden, who presented maps to sub- <br />stantiate their position. <br />Mr. Scheidig questioned both these <br />gentlemen, after which both attorneys <br />summarized their statements, followed <br />by opportunity for both gentlemen to <br />present rebuttals. <br />During the course of the applicant's '' <br />presentation allegations were made <br />regarding "trade offs" between the <br />developer's engineer and City engin- <br />eering staff (Mr. Campbell and Mr. <br />Sooby) The alleged "trade offs" <br />were less density for a private road . <br />Mr. Scheidig requested Mr. Campbell <br />and Mr. Sooby whether said allega- j <br />tions were true. Both gentlemen <br />emphatically denied that any such <br />arrangement had been .made and stated <br />that developer's engineer knew that <br />neither individual could make such <br />an arrangement.. <br />The Commissioners then. had questions <br />for both the City staff and the ap- <br />plicant's engineers, regarding the <br />length, width and hazardous safety <br />features of the proposed private roa <br />They further touched on the topograp. <br />of the area, and how it would affect <br />development of the ten lots in <br />question. <br />The Commissioners expressed concern <br />regarding safety features which would <br />affect the future property owners of <br />this development as well as other <br />-3- <br />
