No. 1361 <br />to Commercial Service. To facilitate <br />matters, the applicant decided to <br />rezone all three of the parcels to <br />the C-S District. Staff is not in <br />favor of this request and recommended <br />denial based on the reasons spelled <br />out on Page 2 of the staff report. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Jack Bras, architect, representin <br />Mr. Safreno, who was also present, <br />spoke to this application. He con- <br />curred with the comments made by Mr. <br />Harris . The applicant had been away <br />on vacation and had just returned tha <br />evening. After reading the staff re- <br />port, he decided their best method <br />to resolve this situation would be to <br />request withdrawal of this rezoning <br />request and reapply for C-F zoning on <br />adjacent parcels . In the interim, <br />Ithey will get together with staff to <br />(work this matter out. <br />'The City Attorney suggested that the <br />Planning Commission continue the <br />hearing on this case until September <br />10, 1975, which was done. <br />Paul Marshall - application for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a <br />Montessori-type school at a residence <br />in the A (Agricultural) District at <br />417 Sycamore Road. <br />Secretary Harris described the staff <br />report for those in the audience. <br />Staff had concerns because of the <br />traffic situation on Sunol Boulevard <br />at Sycamore Road. Additionally, the <br />Fire Department has determined that <br />if a school is established on this <br />property, a fire flow of 1,500 GPM <br />will be required. This would entail <br />-2- <br />
