CITY of PLEASANTON <br />4 Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte October 8, 1975 <br />Time : 8 :40 P.M. <br />PIGCB; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS FOR <br />COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Approved, with <br />review after 60 <br />days. <br />Secretary Harris explained that this <br />application would encompass offices <br />which are a conditional use in the <br />C-N zone. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. <br />Jack Bras was present and registered <br />no objections to the staff report. <br />INo one else spoke and the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution recommending approval <br />subject to conditions of approval <br />and findings required, was entered <br />and unanimously adopted. <br />Request of Franklin Savings & Loan to <br />install carillon bells at their <br />branch office on Hopyard Road. <br />Secretary Harris explained the manner <br />in which the carillon music would be <br />transmitted to the Hopyard Road <br />branch, that being via telephone <br />wires from their Main Street office. <br />The Commissioners felt the idea was <br />a good one, but observed that the <br />area is in a predominantly residen- <br />tial neighborhood and voiced prefer- <br />ence for some caution as to volume <br />of the carillon music. <br />Mr. Mann was present in the audience. <br />It was the suggestion of Councilman <br />Roger McLain that the volume be <br />turned away from the residential area <br />A motion was offered and adopted ap- <br />proving this request for a period of <br />60 days.
