4~'$ y
~BA~~° CITY of PLEASANTON
~ ~ •~/
`~~~~° Planning Commission
~ M ^O
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DG18 : October 8 , 1975
Time : 8:40 P.M.
PICCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
Commissioner Butler noted that prior
to the rezoning of the corner parcel,
it was held that limited commercial
would be considered on the west side
of First Street. That has not hap-
pened. He did agree with staff that
this would be termed "spot zoning. "
He felt that logically, it would be
better to consider the entire block
between Vineyard and Kottinger.
Commissioner Carrigan seconded Com-
missioner Butler's thoughts. He
disagreed with the spot zoning of
thi s property at the time that it
occurred and will concede that there
is not much which can be done about
the existing service station, however
it was his preference to review the
whole block, since he could not
support piecemeal zoning.
Both Chairman Wood and Commissioner
Doherty felt that this zoning would
be a continuation of an already bad
situation. Would have to go along
with staff's recommendation at this
time .
CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT ,_
UP-75-25, Approved,
Res. 1373
A resolution recommending denial of
this request as petitioned, was
entered and adopted.
Applicant was advised he had 15 days
to appeal if he wished.
Frank Pozar - application for a con-
ditional use permit to establish
offices to be located within a pro-
posed building to be located on the
northwest corner of Hopyard Road and
West Las Positas Boulevard, in a C-N
(Commercial Neighborhood) District.
-5 -
