4ti~"8A"r°y f P ~S~NTU N <br />CITY o L~ <br />~~: ; <br />Piann~n Commission <br />.~..o g <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCte ; October 8 , 1975 <br />Time : 8:4o P.Ni. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />REZONING REQUEST <br />RZ-75-12, Denied, <br />Res . 1372 <br />Accordingly, a resolution was offere <br />by Commissioner Butler, seconded by <br />Commissioner Carrigan and unanimousl <br />carried, recommending GP-75-4, in th <br />alternate suggestion, as it pertains <br />to the eastern approximate one-third <br />of the property, be amended from Hig <br />Density Residential to Pub lie and th t <br />the remainder be amended to Retail <br />Business and Offices. <br />Douglas Safreno - application to <br />rezone two parcels of land containinc <br />a total of approximately 11,300 squa~ <br />feet located south and southeast of <br />the existing Shell service station <br />on First Street and Vineyard Avenue <br />(4242 First Street and an unnumbered <br />parcel with no street frontage) , froY <br />RM (Multiple Residential) District <br />to C-F (Commercial Freeway) District <br />Secretary Harris explained that this <br />application had been originally re- <br />viewed on August 13, to rezone three <br />parcels located at the southeast <br />corner of First Street and Vineyard <br />Avenue from C-F and RM-2500 to C-S. <br />Staff recommended denial and the <br />applicant requested a continuance. <br />Then, applicant submitted a new re- <br />zoning request, this time for two <br />parcels to the C-F District. <br />Mr. Harris felt that this.-new request <br />tempers to a degree some of the con- <br />cerns staff had on the original re- <br />zoning request.
