''""'°~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />` Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />Data ; October 8, 1975 <br />Time : 8 :4o P.M. <br />PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />R(~T~T~ CAT.L <br />APPROVAL <br />OF MINUTES <br />GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT <br />GP-75-4, Approved, <br />Res. 1371 <br />Commissioners Present: Butler, <br />Doherty, Carrigan, Shepherd and <br />Chairman Wood. <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />The Pledge of Allegiance followed. <br />The minutes of three meetings for <br />August 4, and 27 and September 10, <br />1975, were approved as submitted. <br />At this point, City Attorney <br />Scheidig introduced his new deputy, <br />Harvey Levine. <br />Planning Commission - application <br />for a general plan amendment to <br />change the general plan designation <br />of 5.2 acres of land located near <br />the northeast corner of Hopyard <br />Road and Valley Avenue from High <br />Density Residential to Retail Busi- <br />ness and Offices, Professional and <br />Administrative Offices, Medium <br />Density Residential, Public or <br />Institutions. <br />Secretary Harris gave the background <br />on this application. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Chris Beratlis, speaking for <br />Barry Spivak, indicated no objection <br />with the staff report. It was his <br />client's preference for Alternative <br />No. 1, but they would not object to <br />the second alternative proposed by <br />staff. He further stipulated that <br />there were no problems with adjoin- <br />ing property owners, or with the <br />shopping center across the street, <br />Res .
