4y$~8A"~~~ CITY of PLEASA TON
N
,~ .~,.
~~~° Planning Commission
rrs9
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGfie ; October 29, 1975
Time : 8:0o P.M.
PIcCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
would do what needs to be done while
allowing needed flexibility to accom-
modate the problems which have been
brought up by the developers present.
Some discussion ensued on precise
wording of the resolution which
needed to be adopted. The Commis-
sioners, particularly Commissioner
Carrigan, expressed tremendous
frustration at having to take such
a stance, which is not the answer
for Pleasanton.
ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Edgar stated that there is always`
the possibility of local funding
but the problem with that is that the
Federal Government also must issue
what is known as an MPDS permit,
and under such a procedure they have
a great deal of control on the size
and type of sewage treatment plant
constructed. I
It was the general feeling among the
Commissioners that at this point ',
they did not have much of a choice,
but to go ahead and recommend the
position so stated in the draft reso-
lution included in their packet.
Accordingly, Resolution No. 1376 was
unanimously adopted by those present
spelling out the items spelled out
in Sections 1 through 3 of that
resolution.
The special meeting of the Planning
Commissi was adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
l
Rober arris, Secretary
-7-
